design final

ooooo doggies! finals week now, so time for some posting updates! here's the cliffnotes version of my design final (another 20+ pager including 3d half-sized samples). the prompt was to create a new label/line for an established design house. obviously, i went with ralph lauren. their style is pretty similar to mine (some say boring, i say classic) and they've got polo and rugger covered pretty well, so i thought, why not branch out into soccer? this project allowed me to comb through my extensive fantasy soccer archives; i went with a pan-bay area team and came up with all the logos and such. fun stuff. the teacher seemed to like it (hooray for a's!) and i'm pretty happy with it. reeeeeally need to get scheduling figured out tho...this all-nighter messed up my rhythm for the rest of the week's finals (didn't finish my dress for construction and i'm sooo tired going into tomorrow's 3 -- that's right 3 -- written exams). oh, and i suppose i should start that paper for tomorrow as well...

Your figure work is improving tremendously. The gestures are natural and some of the poses (eg. coach's suit) show of the clothing really well (esp the opening of the jacket
Ivan has provided me with a little background on the rogue's gallery you've presented--a most creative way to present your oeuvre, as it were ;D

Hope the tests, trials, tribulations went oh so smoothly

The pose and expression on Guardiola are priceless...my favorite by far
Great figure and quite a snappy suit!
