i heart tekne

just some more things while I sort through making garbage unpresentable stabs at painter...

as always, a generous helping of figure-roos

in other exciting news, tekne heart is mine as I have acquired a new wacom, monitor, and keyboard courtesy of the failure of all of the predecessors of the above!
There's a great site that shows the process of a lot of famous illustrators including George Pratt and Mark English over here: http://illustrationacademy.com/new/podcasts.php that I've enjoyed. Also I've been pleasantly suprised by a lot of the things going on at deviantart, including some of the homebrew jpeg walkthroughs. The art community continues to evolve and pass me by! Kids nowadays...they so talented!

miss ya and your fine fine city,

ehhhhxcellent. more lovlies. this development of your hatching technique is working out nicely in your renderings. using that to define musculature helps give your wolvy his scruffiness (could've passed for a bigby before the weapon x treatment). the style helps with the quick street sketches too. i thought the volume was quite good, actually.

sweet, new schwag! pray tell, specs! specs! school's been weighing pretty heavy here with two weeks before break; juggling a number of class projects and papers. tonight's assignment: draw 8 fashion designs aimed at the young, nubile miami beach bunny demographic. woe the tribulations of art school...

ps. was surfing a bit and stumbled across some *thweet theienth* just imagine being down in antartica, in the middle of winter -- maybe a little tipsy -- and to start seeing this stuff happening around you...
