mental projecting

hooray! another project finished! this was the aforementioned design project that had been consuming my every waking hour (and all the more hours when sleep is ignored). got a little feedback from class: apparently i'm warming up to my style finally. fellow school chums said my work last semester didn't seem like "me", which i can understand as last semester's instructor was veeeeeery hands on. here was a chance to flesh out the hacka-verse a bit. i had particular fun rendering the models -- lessee, marlon brando, richard gere and big boi all made guest apparences, and both snoop dogg and pharell williams proved quite inspirational. thanks fellas!

ps. the project came in at 25 pages. these are the boards with the drawrings

hot DOG these are chock full of style and polish (the shiny kind, not the Eastern Bloc kind)!

The presentation is working pretty hard at giving me the viewer a much clearer view of your design vision and aesthetic as a whole. It's fitting for your style, calming on the eyes, and most importantly doesn't distract from your actual work. The characters underneath are more nice subtle indications of where you're coming from design wise without being too in yo' face. man it's all aboot the brando eyes ...'i could'a been a contendah!'
