ambitious stuff but I like the directions that you're taking it! The shiny blacks and strong greens are worthy of any coleopteran carapace. I especially liked the honeycomb looking solid shapes. To me the beauty of the insect is in the nigh mathematical precision of their forms and proportions that I think would really translate well to those shapes and more rigid materials (the shots of the green scale-like patterns looked cool but seemed to lack the proper structural integrity?)
