hackafore bomber jacket all finished and hanging on a form! hooray! the self fabric is a burberry branded waterproof raincoating material, with some red waxed nylon(?) as contrast.
close-up of right breast embroidered hacka-"h"
front of the jacket! snazzy. it was a trying effort to match all the plaid pieces, particularly after i discovered halfway through the cutting process that the plaid is rectangular and not symmetrically square as i had thought...
all opened for business! exposing the patch pocket lining and showing the zipper underneath the center front placket. the two lower patch pockets also feature horizontal access from a single side so the wearer can slide their hands in.
left shoulder patch detail! republic of hackafornia 4 lyfe!
back view! you can still make out the elbow patches and the chevroned yoke across the shoulders
inside lining of the jacket! notice the side-seam zippers for venting/sketchbook access. also, the right sided handy flask-sized pocket.
detailed printed tags! hand made in sf! and yes, hackafore only makes clothes in size medium
detail of left side patch! "after a long success of names that he invented, eliminated and remade in his mind, he decided to call it HACKAFORE, a name which expressed what the creature had been before it was now -- FOREMOST OF ALL THE HACKS IN THE WORLD. - cervantes"
best part of the whole jacket: sketchbook pocket across the entire lower back! the sides of the jacket zip open for easy access! woohoo! no more stretching out my pants tucking sketchbooks into my waistbands!

Dude, nice jacket. I'm gonna have to get you to make me more clothes sometime. I still wear the brown tee every other week pretty much.
love it love it love it love it!
Beautiful!!!
oh you and your details--the delicate collared neck, the strip of red running 'round the circumference of the throat, pocket flap lining, hand designed tags and patches! the contrasting red thread!
And fasteners glorious fasteners that lend the shape such precision. The zipper+ collar combo, they sing, and don't get me started on the sketchbook pocket.
All of your work is consistently so thoughtful and full of Care. It's really a pleasure to look at and reflective of your personality, Sir.
It all reeks of love. Your finest work to date, it's a pleasure to watch you develop like this.
