Piet T-shirts

Wrapped up a new design for T-shirts this past weekend.  The goal was to simplify the overlocked seam process of the Inter shirt, and to find an easy way to add a pocket to the design.  The result was the Piet T-shirt, inspired by the Mondrian graphic from my Party Flavors collection.  Here's the process:

Original garment technical flats with color options.

Pattern making on 440's light-table

Cut fabric pieces.  ...it was nice to use the colored striped mesh fabric again :)

If you're going to sew 1 sample, you might as well sew 3 and sell a couple!

Close-up of front chest pocket detail.  All the seams lined up -- hooray!

Inside view showing off the contrast pocket backing, overlocked seams, and tags.

...and finished!  These were cost at $5 to sew/garment, so it passes the pricing challenge!  They're on the racks now and ready for you to take one home!
