one leg at a time

Finished trousers for my Menswear Summer class! Really happy with these, the brown cotton/poly fabric is really soft to the touch and the fit is quite comfortable. Hooray!

Open center front with exposed fly and pocket bags. The pants are fastened with a hook-and-bar. The zipper is sky blue to match the fly facing and pocketing.

Side view of pants. The outseam is angled about 30 degrees from the natural vertical side seam to join the welt pocket at the top. this creates a yoke across the back which then ends as the front pocket facing. pretty comfy.

Side seam detail. The outseam continues all the way up to the back welt pockets. The welt pocket openings are actually angled to provide a security closure ensuring things don't slip out.
