suit jacket! this was the first project of summer school, and came out looking quite dandy! the fabric is linen (which was quite temperamental to work with, what with all the delicate fraying) and features aqua blue weft and rusty orange warp grains. it was nice to get this closer to finished -- this time by adding buttons and their accompanying holes. hooray for finishedness!
front w/ untucked pocket flaps
creamesicle lining fabric used for the upper ticket pocket and ringed piping on the lower pocket flaps
ehhh...need some more button-holing practice. contrast thread on the third button tho!
hee hee; peeking up the undercarriage! those corners are SO mitered
felt under collar
splayed open
double lining pockets, the upper with button flap and loop! also; mmmmm....piping!

lookin' sharp there young man--I think you have an affinity for that Californian warm orange 'n blue (scintillating seas n skies at sunset??) and that combo on a summer suit is, in the words of Grunge, "way foiine".
Contrast button thread on the third button...oh you and your detailing!
This jacket is amazing! Great work Dave!
