collared woven shirt! i went with a red plaid cotton flannel as the selfing fabric. the cotton is super soft and has enjoyed immediate use. there is a left-breast patch pocket, which is a little difficult to make out. opposite is an embroidered hackafore "h" as some branding. really happy with the way it turned out.
close up of embroidered hacka-"h" and snaps!
back view.
back view of flipped-up collar, collar stand, yoke and then back of the shirt. ...attempted continuity
doghouse sleeve plackets. more snaps to close off the cuff.
inside view of back yoke. this was made in a contrast red fabric. this was a cotton/lycra wicking knit fabric, which needed stabilizing fusable strips along the edges to stitch with any sort of straightness. i chose this fabric as i have noticed a tendency of mine to perspire profusely whenever out and about and would enjoy any assistance possible in helping keep cool and fresh.
inside-view of right breast embroidery. notice the large stabilizing fusable fabric patch. after many agrivating attempts without a stabilizer, i acame across the solution and the stitching was much easier.

Funny how flannel (which I had considered a staple of the Pacific Northwest and/or the Midwest) has become a hipster staple in CA now...(at least 10 years after it peaked in the Seattle scene?)
Man I really like the look of the red backing! It's great for making the H logo and the shoulders stand out against the patterned fabric. So catchy I sort of wish it were on the outside where more eyeballs could enjoy
