put together a little something in honor of america's 233rd birthday. this whole thing was from scratch -- so i had to draft the pattern pieces, find/buy the fabric, then cut and sew. i started on friday, hoping to finish the whole thing in a day, but after taking saturday off, i finished today. i'm pretty happy with it (the collar was a massive bitch, and i think it might be better suited being a 1/2" taller -- mayhaps too much exposed manly chest-hair), particularly as we haven't been instructed in anything like this yet in school. hooray for summer projects!

What a great idea for the 4th, and really well executed. I dig how your comic book sensibilities seem to line up so well with your sportswear finesse--a killer combo! The pit vents look so darn functional too.
Makes me long for more of those Comicon cosplaying shenanigans.....siiiigh oh fondest of mem'ries
awesome. watch out for the camera flash on those pit vents dude.
thanks for the kind words! ...and "flashy pits" is my middle name (one of them anyway).
truely a shame about this year's comicon...we've really got to get our act together and schedule some more face time. this digital divide is a bit unsatisfactory...
