a little half collection made up for our first design project. pretty fun and a nice way to cool off from the comic productively. a shame, i don't think we're working with this project anymore after tomorrow's review... :* (

Much more modern than your comic, too! I don't know if I approve of the blue pants/red jacket combo on our man BB though. He strikes me as a "dapper Dan" type, and the blue is a bit too reminiscent of blue jeans and a red blazer IMO. Really dig the pinstripes though, always classy.
oops. yeah, for some clarification, the first two were bazooka designs. the second two were backup characters: the fellow with glasses was a "commissioner gordon/inspector dolan" type, while the blue pinstripes was an evil bazooka boy (you know, like inverse flash or bizarro or black costume spidey).
wrapping this up: we had our critique today on these. the class was pretty impressed with all the background research and comic, but the instructor seemed a bit muffed (in general, really). she suggested instead of drawing, drawing, drawing i should have sewn some samples up. she wanted more 3d exploration. i tried to counter with the comic being printed in 3d, but she wasn't having any of it... *sigh*
ah that's makin way more the sense now.
but seriously, Dave. Drawing? What a waste of time.
