i was inspired by hajime sorayama and was trying to mimic that look in the first image, but i couldn't figure out a chroming effect in photoshop. the filter they offer is far from ideal, so i went instead with some desaturization and lens flare effects. it should fit in the background nicely.
i'm pretty happy with the second one. the binary reads "beer" (sweet 8lb. baby jeebus, that's a lot of 1s and 0s). i figured bender would be a popular enough robot to have some friends help with the advertising. moving on to some neon signs, the battery dispenser and the girl's tat.
